We prioritise safety and enjoyment, advising you and your guests to refrain from swatting at bees, maintain a respectful distance, and avoid operating loud machinery like lawnmowers near the hive to prevent startling them.

Very little! A backyard hive ideally needs a minimum of 5 feet of clear space in front of its entrance, serving as a "runway" for bees to freely enter and exit. Behind the hive, a space of about 3 to 5 feet is recommended for beekeepers to work with ease.
